Nach Ansicht des Chefs der ING Group, Ralph Hamers, hat die Blockchain das Potenzial, der globale Standard für das Banking werden. Die DWN zitieren Hamers mit den Worten:

Wenn die fünf führenden sechs globalen Banken sich darauf festlegen und sich auf einen Standard einigen würden, könnte man diesen Standard dem Globus aufzwingen.
